May I, on behalf of Bridgtown & District Local History Society, wish you all a very Happy New Year.

May it bring to you all a blessing of good health, peace and well-being throughout the year ahead.

Covid permitting we will hold our first meeting at 11.00am on Wednesday 2^nd February 2022. This will be a social meeting, allowing members and friends to join in a cup of tea/coffee and a time to “catch-up” on what the Society has been doing since we last met.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our co-chairman, David Williams. As one of the founders of the Society, David was prolific in what he did for us. He produced the “Bridgtonian Quarterley’s” and some of the books from the Society. He will be greatly missed.
