PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THE ANNUAL EVENT DUE TO BE HELD ON 7th DECEMBER 2019 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL EARLY 2020.

HOWEVER, A XMAS COFFEE MORNING WILL BE ARRANGED FOR EITHER WEDNESDAY 4th OR 11th DECEMBER WHEN THERE WILL A CHRISTMAS FEEL TO THE MORNING WITH MINCE PIES AND CAROLS AND MAYBE A FEW SURPRISES.

THE TALK ON 20th NOVEMBER 2019 WILL BE FROM JO GOLDBY WHO WILL TELL US ABOUT THE LENGTHS THAT OUR ANCESTORS WENT TO, TO “PRETTIFY” THEMSELVES. A FEW SURPRISES WILL APPEAR.

Another month has passed by. Due to pressures outside the Society, we are running behind on our various projects and for that we apologise.

The next talk on Wednesday 16th October at the Bethel 10.00am to Noon , will come from the Museum of Cannock Chase and is titled “Make do & Mend”

Our open day will go ahead at the Bethel on Saturday 7th December 10.00am til 4.00pm. This will include our usual photographic display and a display of music by Cornelius Whitehouse. Our Xmas celebration will also go ahead. More details as we finalise the programme.

As is our custom, we are holding our annual Bridgtown Remembrance Parade & Service one week prior to the official Day and the Cannock Parade, to allow anyone to attend both Bridgtown & Cannock Remembrance Day Parades. We wish to invite you to join us on Sunday the 3rd of November 2019. Please meet up approx. 10.00am in Bridgtown in Union St, outside Buckley loft conversions.
