The talk from Christine Shaw, Ex President of the South Staffordshire Beekeepers was well attended and went down well with the audience. Especially the Honey samples Christine bought with her. The talk was a general overview of the art of beekeeping and Christine held the audience with her recollections of various happenings and the life cycle of bees. Our thanks go to Chris for her very entertaining talk.

The next talk will be on Wednesday 19th June at the Bethel at 10.00am and Me Ned Williams will be talking about “Pat Collins & his Fairground Attractions”.
It appears that Fairs are no longer the attraction that they were, but I’m sure we all remember the rides and stalls and the fun we had as kids and indeed the pull of the ghost train when out with the opposite sex as a teenager.
